Reinforcement and Covering
The corrugated tube may be reinforced with wire braids or helical wires. The wire braid reinforcement provides additional strength and pressure - handling capabilities. The outer covering of the metal hose can be made of materials such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride), rubber, or other synthetic materials.
