PTFE can withstand a wide range of temperatures. It remains stable and maintains its mechanical properties over a broad temperature interval from extremely low temperatures (- 200°C) up to relatively high temperatures (260°C). This enables its use in applications where temperature variations are significant, such as in some industrial processes involving heating and cooling cycles.
