Axial compensator

Keyword:

Axial compensator

Axial type internal pressure compensator (expansion joint) consists of a corrugated pipe and structure. It absorbs axial displacement and a small amount of lateral and angular displacement of the pipeline through the flexible deformation of the corrugated pipe. The two ends are connected by welding directly to the pipeline connection or welding flanges and then connecting to the pipeline flange. The small pull rod on the compensator is used as a rigid support during transportation or for adjusting product deformation, and cannot be used as a force bearing pull rod to balance pressure and thrust. This type of structure is simple and cost-effective, so it should be considered first wherever pipelines are available.
The axial metal bellows expansion joint produced by our company adopts the optimized design of the American EJMA standard. The product meets the domestic market demand and is exported to 22 foreign countries. Widely used in aerospace, navigation, petrochemicals, smelting, power plants, information industry, industrial equipment manufacturing, and the connection of engineering pipeline systems, it effectively ensures the high safety performance of pressure pipelines when transporting various harmful, toxic, flammable, and explosive media, avoiding leakage pollution and causing environmental pollution in oceans, skies, factories, and other areas. Its product features are high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, and wear resistance.
Flat flange connection of axial inward pressure corrugated pipe expansion joint: Any type of flange can be applied to metal corrugated pipe expansion joints for bolted connection to pipeline systems. Forged steel and flat flanges can be matched with pressure and temperature ratings ranging from 2.5Mpa to 5.0Mpa, with diameter standards ranging from 15mm to 5000mm. Special flanges, such as swivel flanges or angled flanges, can have sizes ranging from 300mm to 1800mm. Any size of flange can be customized.
Axial inward pressure corrugated pipe expansion joint end pipe connection: Any type of pipe can be connected to the corrugated pipe and welded in the pipeline system. The pipe diameter can range from 15mm to 10000mm. The material can be carbon steel, and stainless steel and other alloy steel pipes can also be used.
Pressure and thrust are the forces generated by the pressure applied to the corrugated pipe. This force is obtained by multiplying the system pressure by the effective area of the corrugated pipe. If there is no expansion joint, the pipeline system will be affected by pressure, and the system will not move due to the fact that the pipeline and tension are in the opposite direction. When an unconstrained expansion joint is applied to a pipeline system, the force in the pipeline will be absorbed by the expansion joint without affecting the pipeline system itself. This pressure and thrust must include a main fixed bracket or controlled expansion joint to withstand the load of pressure and thrust. This main fixed bracket must be able to withstand pressure thrust and a small amount of force caused by the displacement of the corrugated pipe.
The spacing between the installation conduit devices of the axial inward pressure corrugated pipe expansion joint
The following diagram illustrates the necessary factors for the installation of a typical axial expansion joint, which must be consistently followed. The first conduit device G1 is located at a position four times the diameter of the expansion joint tube. If the expansion joint is designed for external pressure, the first conduit device is integrated with the expansion joint. In this case, only the second conduit device is required to grip the built-in and intermediate stage conduit devices.
The second conduit device G2 is located at a position 14 times the diameter of the expansion joint, and the main fixed bracket is designed from a design perspective
